Just Picked up the Force Unleashed and man is this Game Awesome!!
Yes yes I went to an Apple store today…no I wasn’t drunk and yes I did buy something. Being the die hard PC guy that I am just the thought of me going into the Apple store is surprising. But I don’t Hate Macs…I just prefer using windows and being able to use any software that I please, andmaybe its because I am in the IT field but my pc runs GREAT, never have any problems with viruses, spyware, bluescreens, or anything like that.
That being said I needed a new keyboard… It all started when I thought my 7 month old nieces drool had screwed up my old one after I took it a apart and it still wasn’t working right I figured it was done for sure, but a firmware update to the wireless receiver got it working again (go figure) anyway because of my tinkering with it it didn’t type quite right some keys stuck and others just didn’t feel right. So I figured I’d try out the New ultra thin Apple Aluminum keyboards
…and it works good. Love the way it types it feels good.
So that is the extent of my Apple usage 1 keyboard [edit] 2 keyboards (I got one for my office pc too) [/edit] thats it…I’ll still take my Zune over and Ipod any day and Windows over OSX.
So l just got a Digi-Pro 8×6 tablet and its pretty cool I am using it to write this post. It’s a pretty basic entry level tablet even though its no Wacom its pretty cool. Vista picked it up no problem no drivers needed and I am surprised how good the windows handwriting recognition is It’s picking up everything I write. I got it primarily to use in Photoshop but I can see myself using it for a lot more than just that, it’s a really intresting way of interfacing with the computer it feels more natural than useing a mouse.
The Green Lantern has his ring of power, Batman has his utility belt, and every good IT guy has their thumb drive. So there’s nothing worse than loosing your trusty thumb drive. It all started when the little plastic tab thats supposed to keep the drive attached to your keys broke. I carried the drive loosely around in my pocket till one day I couldn’t find it…..lets just say I was a little ticked off. Even though after a few days I found it I figured I need a new thumb drive…a better…..a faster…..a stronger thumb drive. So I found this the Corsair 64816 Flash Survivor 16gb thumb drive.

Lets just say this isn’t your momma’s thumb drive and hopefully I won’t be loosing it any time soon.
